Nationality: Male citizens of Pakistan (Unmarried).

Education: Minimum 65% marks in F.Sc (Pre-Engineering) with Physics, Chemistry & Maths or A-Level with Phys, Chem & Maths.

Ineligibility Conditions for PAF

Important Ineligibility Conditions

Twice Rejected by ISSB Candidates rejected twice by ISSB are not eligible to apply (except where a waiver is granted for specific technical branches).
Dismissed from Government Service Individuals dismissed or removed from any Government Service (Civil or Military) are ineligible.
Medical Unfitness Candidates declared permanently unfit by the Appeal Medical Board (AMB) cannot apply.
Criminal Record Any person convicted by a court of law for an offense involving moral turpitude is not eligible.
Tampered or Fake Documents Candidates found submitting fake documents or providing false information during registration will be disqualified.
Withdrawn on Disciplinary Grounds Candidates withdrawn from any Armed Forces academy on disciplinary grounds are not eligible to apply.

Required Documents for Registration

When visiting the selection center or applying online, ensure you have:

  • Original Educational Certificates and Mark Sheets (Matric/F.Sc/Degree).

  • Original NADRA Smart Card (Mandatory – Form B is not acceptable).

  • 04 Passport size photographs (Blue background).

  • Domicile Certificate and Character Certificate.

  • Equivalence Certificate (for O/A Level candidates).

How to Apply for PAF 2026

  1. Visit Official Portal: Go to – https://paf.gov.pk/

  2. Select Course: Choose the branch you are eligible for (e.g., GD Pilot, Engineering).

  3. Fill Application: Enter your CNIC, personal details, and academic marks accurately.

  4. Print Slip: After submission, download and print your Registration Slip which contains your test date, time, and center.

  5. Preparation: Prepare for the Intelligence Test (Verbal & Non-Verbal) and Academic Tests (Physics, Maths, English).

PAF Selection Procedure 2026

Selection Procedure – Your Path to Commission

Online Registration Candidates must register online through the official PAF website within the announced registration dates.
Intelligence & Academic Tests Initial Intelligence Test followed by Academic Tests in English, Physics, and Mathematics (as per relevant branch requirements).
Initial Medical & Interview Basic medical examination and personality assessment conducted at PAF Selection Centers.
Initial Physical Test Candidates must qualify the following physical standards:
  • Running: 1.6 KM (Male: 8.5 min, Female: 10 min)
  • Push-Ups: 15 repetitions (2 minutes)
  • Sit-Ups: 20 repetitions (2 minutes)
  • Chin-Ups: 03 repetitions (2 minutes)
ISSB Testing Shortlisted candidates undergo a 5-day Inter Services Selection Board (ISSB) assessment.
Final Medical Examination Conducted at the Central Medical Board (CMB), Masroor or Lahore.
Final Selection Air Headquarters makes the final selection based on overall merit and performance throughout the selection process.
